  • 1 large sweet potato, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt + pepper
  • 1 lb ground turkey, breast
  • 3 cloved garlic
  • ½ cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups Mixed Greens
  • Pickled red onions
  • Banana Peppers
  • Primal Kitchen Special Sauce (or homemade!)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss diced sweet potatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, until golden and tender. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into patties. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
  4. Add mixed greens to serving bowls. Top with roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, and banana peppers.
  5. Add a turkey patty to each bowl and drizzle generously with Primal Kitchen Special Sauce. Serve immediately.
